Jay Williamson

Jay Williamson has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Jay is currently the President/Chief Executive Officer at American Southwest Credit Union, where they have successfully lowered operating costs and increased net income. Prior to this, Jay served as the President/Chief Executive Officer at Progressions Credit Union, where they significantly grew total assets and net income. Jay also has experience as a Branch President at First Security Bank Montana, where they led the bank to become the market leader in the Belgrade community. Jay has also worked as a Vice President at Stockman Bank of Montana and as a Branch President at First United Bank, where they were responsible for the overall direction of a community banking unit and achieved an impressive ROA.

Jay Williamson obtained a Master of Science degree in Management & Leadership from Western Governors University in 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. In 2008-2010, Jay completed a graduate program at SW Graduate School of Banking. Jay also holds a certification as a Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist from the Credit Union National Association, obtained in 2019.
