Monica Sampson

Monica Sampson is an accomplished professional in the field of speech-language pathology with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Chief Staff Officer for Speech-Language Pathology at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since March 2013, Monica has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Senior Director, Director, and Associate Director of Health Care Services in Speech Language Pathology. Previously, Monica worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Genesis Rehabilitation Services from 2005 to January 2016 and HCR ManorCare. Monica also contributed to the Asian Indian Caucus as Vice-President from December 2008 to December 2013 and gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Aphasia Research Center, University of Maryland. Monica holds a PhD in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland College Park, an MA in Communicative Disorders from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, and a BSLHS in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute.
