Digital Strategist at ASHA

Rebecca Vander Linde is a Digital Strategist at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since April 2022. Previously, Rebecca held various roles at American University from June 2010 to April 2022, including Social Media Manager, where strategic social media guidance was provided to the university president and former HHS secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell. As Manager of Digital Communications, Rebecca managed the university website and co-chaired the Content Publishers Committee. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Alumni Communications, where oversight of alumni social media accounts and email marketing was conducted, and involvement in the Democratic National Conventions in 2012 and 2016 as a Daily Press Briefing Room Co-Director. Rebecca's career started at Robert Weiner Associates, where extensive experience in research and media relations was gained. Currently, Rebecca is pursuing a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at William & Mary, having previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from American University.
