Forrest Merchant has over 35 years of experience in production control and IT roles, currently serving as a Sr Production Control Analyst at American Student Assistance since 2006. In this position, Forrest is responsible for incident management, ensuring that appropriate personnel are alerted in case of incidents and facilitating communication as needed. Previous roles include Production Control Analyst, where responsibilities included monitoring server configurations and managing job requests through the Jira help desk system, and Computer Operator, focusing on testing live production batches and generating reports. Prior to American Student Assistance, Forrest worked at Anacomp from 1988 to 2006 as a Lead Computer Operator, aligning computer media with data to create the desired output for client specifications. Forrest holds an Associate's degree in Information Technology from ITT Technical School, completed in 2002.
