Mike Murphy

Mike Murphy is a seasoned professional in strategic communications and social media management, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Strategic Communications at American Student Assistance since August 2021. In this role, Mike manages business-to-business social media accounts to enhance brand awareness and creates thought leadership content focused on K-12 education and career exploration. Prior to this, Mike held several positions at Connelly Partners, including Social Media Supervisor, where responsibilities encompassed mentorship, social media strategy development for prominent brands, and client reporting. Additional experience includes creative management roles at Brafton Inc., where Mike co-managed the social media team and trained strategists, as well as earlier positions in sales and public relations. Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Emmanuel College.
