Katherine Burkett has a diverse work experience that spans from 2018 to the present. Katherine has held various roles at different organizations. Notably, they are currently serving as the President of the LSU Chapter of the American Student Dental Association. In this role, they have also been a Contributing Editor and a Secretary of the LSU Chapter. Katherine has also held the position of Media and Content Chair for District 5 of the American Student Dental Association. Before their involvement in the dental field, they served as the President of the Tulane University Pre-Dental Society and was a Cheerleader for the Tulane University Athletics. Additionally, Katherine has been actively involved in Chi Omega- Rho Chapter, where they held the positions of Secretary (GKA), Sisterhood Chair, and Foundations Ambassador. Katherine has also worked as a Campus Director for Bumble and an Administrative Assistant at Tulane University School of Medicine.
Katherine Burkett began their education journey in 2017 at Tulane University. Katherine pursued a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology, completing both degrees in 2021. During their time at Tulane, Katherine also completed a minor in Business at the A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2019. In 2021, they enrolled at LSU Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry, where they are currently pursuing further education.
