Melissa Cooper

Melissa Cooper is an accomplished professional in the fields of accounting and finance, with a career spanning several prominent companies. Currently, Melissa serves in the Accounting and Finance department at American Surety Company Commercial Bonds since January 2021. Prior to this, Melissa held the position of Senior Consultant at Insperity from January 2018 to December 2020. Melissa's extensive experience includes roles as Director of External Reporting and Compliance, as well as Controller at Raven Industries from June 2012 to June 2017. Melissa also contributed to CNA Surety as Assistant Vice President of Accounting Operations and Reporting for 27 years, from June 1985 to May 2012. Melissa holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota and a BA in Accounting and Business Administration from Augustana University.
