Shane Sykes

Shane Sykes has extensive experience in the surgical technology field, currently serving as CST/FAST at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital since September 2016. In addition, Shane has held various leadership roles within the Mississippi AST, including Secretary, President, and Vice President, and serves on the National Bylaws Committee for the Association of Surgical Technologists since June 2014. Previous positions include Clinical Director of Surgical Technology at Concorde Career Colleges and CST/FAST Surgical Technologist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Shane began a career in surgical technology at King Daughter's Hospital and has a solid educational background with an Associate's degree in Physical Sciences from Hinds Community College and a degree in Surgical Technology from Hinds Nursing Allied Health.
