Emily Thompson

Emily Thompson is an experienced catering and event professional with a diverse background in hospitality management. Currently serving as the Catering Event Coordinator at the American Swedish Institute since August 2023, Emily previously worked as a Catering Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency by Mall of America and held various roles in sales and project coordination at organizations including Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Airport, Mintahoe Catering & Events, and CRAVE Catering. Emily's career began at Minneapolis Marriott City Center, where valuable front desk experience was gained. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Southwest Minnesota State University and certification as a bartender from the Minnesota School of Bartending.
