Inga Theissen

Inga Theissen is a seasoned professional in the fields of museum and archival management, currently serving as the Manager of Collections and Historic Properties at The American Swedish Institute since January 2016. Previously, Inga held positions such as Visual Resources Curator at Macalester College, where responsibilities included maintaining the digital image collection and supporting faculty and students, and Director/Curator at the Digital Collections + Archives Unit at the University of Minnesota, overseeing the growth and management of digital and archival collections. Inga's experience also includes a role as Assistant Curator at Holland America Line, where entertainment activities and guest relations were central to the position. Inga holds a Master of Arts in Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby's Institute of Art and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of St. Thomas.
