Karl Straley

Karl Straley serves as the Vice President and Director of the Network Engineering Solutions Directorate for AMERICAN SYSTEMS, overseeing federal customer programs and projects. With a background that includes roles such as Sr. IT/Infrastructure Architect at AMERICAN SYSTEMS and President of S&S Telnet Inc., Karl has extensive experience in managing technical design and consulting functions for government and commercial enterprise network solutions. Prior roles also include serving as Telecommunications Engineering SME Consultant for the General Services Administration and as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Government Telecommunications Inc. Karl's academic foundation is from Northern Virginia Community College, where studies were completed from 1983 to 1986.
