Byron Johns

Byron Johns has extensive experience in program management and business development, currently serving as the VP and Air Force Netcents 2 Program Manager at American Systems since February 2006, where responsibilities include US Air Force account management. Previously, Byron held the position of Vice President of Federal Operations, focusing on federal government business development and contract management. Prior to American Systems, Byron worked at Capital One Financial as Director of IT, overseeing IT business systems applications. Byron's earlier career included roles such as Vice President of International and VP of Latin American Operations at Convergys, as well as Department Head at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Byron's education includes advanced degrees from Yale School of Management, the University of Michigan, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Morehouse College, covering fields such as international management, electrical and computer engineering, and physics.
