David Knapp

David Knapp's work experience includes:

- Business Consultant at American Technology Solutions International Corp. (ATSI) starting in April 2021.

- Events Team Lead at the Navy SBIR/STTR Transition Program (Navy STP) starting in April 2021.

- Program Manager - Submarine CONOPS & Business Development at Newport News Shipbuilding, A Division of Huntington Ingalls Industries from January 2012 to February 2021. David was responsible for overseeing multiple Independent Research and Development projects, managing a staff of approximately 60 personnel, and preparing project plans, schedules, budget and technical reports.

- Major Program Manager - Undersea Defensive Warfare Systems in the US Navy from October 1984 to December 2011. David provided management direction for multiple undersea defensive warfare systems programs, led a staff of 30 military and civilian personnel, and approved technical and financial plans.

David Knapp's education history includes the following:

- From 2003 to 2005, they attended Old Dominion University and obtained a Master of Engineering Management degree in the field of Engineering Management.

- In 2001 to 2002, they studied at the U.S. Naval War College and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies.

- Between 1989 and 1991, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Systems Technology at the Naval Postgraduate School.

- From 1980 to 1984, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University.
