Aime Franco

Aime Franco serves as an Associate Professor with Tenure at the University of Pennsylvania and as the Director of the Pediatric Translational Thyroid Cancer Laboratory at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since August 2019. Franco has a robust background in cancer research, focusing on the pathogenesis of thyroid cancer and the development of novel therapeutics for advanced cases. Additional roles include membership on the Board of Directors for the American Thyroid Association. Prior positions include Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Postdoctoral Fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Franco holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Cancer Biology and a Master of Science in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania.
