John M. Thorne

John M. Thorne, RCDD RTPM, is a seasoned construction manager currently working with American Tower since August 2016, overseeing site development for the East Region and managing fiber-based networks. With extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, John has previously held senior roles at Onepath Systems, LLC, and Connectivity Wireless, focusing on Distributed Antenna Systems. In addition to active participation in BICSI since 1996, John has contributed to the education of future professionals as an instructor for the Independent Electrical Contractors. Prior roles include field operations management at Emory University and various technical positions with AT&T and Sprint Nextel. John's educational background includes studies at Emory University and Pitt Community College.
