Loueen Blunden

Loueen Blunden is a seasoned operations executive currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer and Executive Head of Capital Projects at American Tower since May 2017. With a diverse background in telecommunications and project management, Loueen has led a team of 40 professionals, focusing on site acquisition, property management, infrastructure rollout, and digital transformation. Prior to American Tower, Loueen held various leadership positions at Ericsson from December 2005 to April 2017, managing operations across nine African countries and overseeing project delivery for major mobile operators. Earlier experience includes project management roles at Atos, where significant projects such as the IT and infrastructure readiness for the 8th All Africa Games and the World Summit on Sustainable Development were successfully delivered. Loueen holds a Global Executive MBA from IESE Business School, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of West London, and various other qualifications in project management and accounting.
