Ellen Nowak

Ellen Nowak is an accomplished professional in regulatory and government affairs, currently serving as Vice President of Regulatory & Government Affairs at ATC since July 2023. Previously, Ellen has held significant positions including Commissioner at the Wisconsin Public Service Commission since January 2019, Secretary at the Wisconsin Department of Administration in 2018, and Chairperson/Commissioner at the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin from July 2011 to February 2018. Ellen's experience also includes serving as Chief of Staff for the Waukesha County Executive from 2009 to 2011 and working as Legal Counsel and Chief of Staff at the Wisconsin State Assembly from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Ellen practiced law as an attorney at Mallery & Zimmerman, S.C. from 1998 to 2002. Ellen holds a Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School, earned between 1995 and 1998.
