Flora Flygt

Flora Flygt has extensive experience in strategic planning and policy advisory roles within the energy sector, currently serving as Strategic Planning & Policy Advisor at American Transmission Company since August 2005. Flora has held various leadership positions, including Director of Strategic Projects and Director of Planning, where responsibilities included managing teams focused on transmission project development and providing expert testimony before regulatory bodies. Prior experience includes significant roles at Alliant Energy, overseeing corporate research and market development, as well as independent consulting at EnerPlan LLC. Flora's career began at Madison Gas and Electric, progressing from rate analyst to supervisor of load forecasting. Flora holds a Master of Science in Land Resources and a Master's Certificate in Energy Analysis & Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
