Javier Correa

Javier Correa is a seasoned Power System Operator with extensive experience at the American Transmission Company (ATC) since 2009, where responsibilities include ensuring safe and reliable transmission system operations in compliance with industry regulations. Prior to that, Javier served in the US Army as a Fire Direction Specialist, mastering advanced artillery systems, and worked as a Field Service Technician at Machine Tool Technologies, Inc., providing mobile repairs and assessments for various metal fabricating equipment. Javier also held a supervisory role at the Pettit National Ice Center early in his career. Academically, Javier holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Puerto Rico-Recinto de San Juan.
