Jeff Cloninger

Jeff Cloninger has over 14 years of experience in the utility industry. Jeff began their career in 2006 as a Regional Electric Engineer at Wisconsin Public Service and was promoted to Supervisor of Substation Maintenance and Construction in 2012. In 2015, Jeff joined American Transmission Co. as a Senior Substation Maintenance Engineer before being promoted to Engineering Team Lead in October 2019. Throughout their career, Jeff has gained expertise in substation maintenance and construction, as well as regional electric engineering.

Jeff Cloninger earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electric Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 2009 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification from GIAC Certifications in August 2018.
