Tom Finco

Tom Finco is vice president, system operations responsible for overseeing real-time operations, forward operations, energy management systems and corporate security.

Finco began his career with American Transmission Co. as manager of real estate upon the company’s formation in 2001. He was promoted to director, real estate in 2005, tasked with overseeing the real estate, facilities and physical security departments. In 2013, Finco was promoted to vice president, external affairs, responsible for the customer relations, state and federal government relations, interconnection services, real estate, local relations and environmental departments.

Prior to joining ATC, he spent 11 years at Alliant Energy in various real estate leadership positions. Finco earned a bachelor’s degree in geography (cartographic emphasis) from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Outside of his ATC duties, Finco serves as a board member and was past president of the Waukesha County Center for Growth, Waukesha County’s economic development organization.
