Rich Pianka

Rich Pianka has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Rich began their career as a Software Engineer and Computational Linguist at Primus Knowledge Solutions in 2000. In 2004, they transitioned to the field of law, working as a Law Clerk at KATZ & RANZMAN, PC. Rich then joined WilmerHale as an Associate in 2005 before becoming a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 2006. In 2007, they joined Mayer Brown as an Associate and stayed until 2012 when they became the ATA General Counsel & Executive Vice President—Legal Affairs and ATA Litigation Center Chief Counsel at the American Trucking Associations.

Rich Pianka has an extensive education history. Rich completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Classics at Princeton University in an unspecified year. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Classical Greek at The University of Texas at Austin, which they completed by 1993. Following their MA degree, Rich attended the American School of Classical Studies at Athens from 1995 to 1996. During this period, they focused on studying Ancient Greek Archaeology, Topography, and Epigraphy. Finally, Rich concluded their educational journey by earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2005.
