John Difini

John DiFini has over 20 years of experience in technology and leadership roles. John is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Retirement Services at American Trust, where they are responsible for building and scaling teams, products, and systems. Prior to this, they worked as the CTO at LT Trust for four years, overseeing the strategic direction and management of the technology department. John also has experience as a Technology Director at PENSCO Trust Company, a Technology Manager at LT Trust, a Lead Java Developer at Fiserv ISS, and a Senior Analyst/Developer at Goldman Sachs. John's early career includes roles as a Senior Java Developer at MetalMaker, Inc., a Web Developer at XOR, Inc., and a Programmer/Analyst Consultant at Computer Sciences Corporation. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, set technical strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders.

John DiFini earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa. John attended the University from 1992 to 1997. In addition to their degree, John obtained certifications including a Series 65 (Investment Advisor Representative) from NASAA in January 2014, and a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) from Sun Microsystems in April 2001.
