Betsy Puckett D. serves as a Project Coordinator for the Duke Council on Race & Ethnicity and SITPA Programs at Duke University since September 2018, focusing on research, funding, partnership development, and analytical report preparation. Concurrently, Betsy has been active as a Mindfulness Facilitator and Yoga Instructor at multiple organizations, including the Hill Learning Center and American Underground, where weekly sessions promote wellness among participants. Additionally, Betsy leads the 'Meditate Together' program for Mindful Leader and facilitates mindfulness practices through Mindful Anytime and other platforms, aiming to alleviate stress and enhance well-being. With a rich background in the arts, Betsy has owned Betsy Puckett Studios since 1997 and has held teaching positions in various educational settings, fostering creativity through art and yoga. Betsy holds an MFA in Painting and Drawing from The University of Georgia, a United Nations Association Fellowship from George Washington University, and a BFA in Painting, Printmaking, and Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University.
