Mark Scalercio

In his role with the company’s Individual Life and Financial Services (ILFS) lin of business, Mark Scalercio will lead ILFS sales and distribution across all channels, aligning sales teams and distribution partners with innovative growth strategies. He’ll focus on leveraging digital operating platforms to promote advice-driven customer value and cultivating a diverse distribution network.

Prior to joining OneAmerica® in 2020, Scalercio served as the national head of sales at RiverSource Life Insurance Company, which manages the insurance and annuities business for Ameriprise Financial. Before that, he worked in retirement services as a senior vice president at AXA Equitable and The Hartford. Scalercio had previously served as the national head of sales for Sun Life of Canada/MFS Retirement Services before the company merged with The Hartford. He and his colleagues also founded a distribution company, LifeSource, which was later acquired by BYSIS/Crump.

Scalercio received his bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. As a sales leader, his passion is finding new market opportunities, growing and diversifying distribution channels and leveraging data. Scalercio lives in Denver, Colorado, where he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, skiing, fishing and golf.
