Mordecai Tolbert

Mordecai Tolbert, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as the Director of Alternative Investments at OneAmerica since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles in investments at Muller & Monroe Asset Management from June 2019 to April 2022, and as a Private Markets Investment Analyst for IMRF between December 2014 and August 2018. Previously, Mordecai worked as an Institutional Consultant at DiMeo Schneider & Associates from May 2012 to November 2014 and as an Investment Analyst at the University of Wisconsin Foundation from June 2008 to August 2011. Early career experience includes a summer analyst position at GE from May 2006 to August 2007. Educational qualifications include an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, earned in 2020 with concentrations in Finance, Analytic Finance, and Entrepreneurship, along with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Real Estate from the Wisconsin School of Business, completed in 2008.
