Ali Chehab

Ali Chehab is an accomplished academic and industry professional, currently serving as Professor and Chairman of the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department at the American University of Beirut since October 2002. With a robust teaching portfolio that includes Programming, Electronics, Digital Systems Design, and Cryptography, Ali Chehab's research interests encompass Wireless Communications Security, Cloud Computing Security, and VLSI Design among others. In addition to academic roles, Ali Chehab is the Founder of Cloudgate Consulting DWC-LLC and co-founded SAUGO 360, focusing on innovative solutions in Networking, Telecom, and Security. Previous experience includes positions as Senior Design Engineer at Multilink Technology Corporation and Test Engineer at Intel Corporation. Ali Chehab earned a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and holds both an MS in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University and a BE in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
