David Matta

David Matta is an experienced professional with a strong background in career management, strategic human resources, and organizational development. Currently serving as the Career Management Services Director at the American University of Beirut since January 2021, Matta focuses on global employability strategies and building corporate alliances. In addition, Matta is an instructor in Strategic HR Management and Business Ethics at AUB and teaches Strategy Management at Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et Développement. As the Founder and President of the Lebanese Association of Mindfulness, Matta leads initiatives to promote mindfulness and resilience in Lebanon. Previous roles include directing organization and corporate governance at arcenciel, and executive positions at Volkswagen AG, Cadillac, and Porsche AG, where significant achievements in business strategy and operational excellence were realized. Matta's educational credentials include numerous advanced degrees from prestigious institutions, with a focus on leadership, mindfulness, and business administration.
