Lokman Meho is a seasoned academic and librarian currently serving as a Professor and University Librarian at the American University of Beirut since September 2023. Prior to this role, Lokman held the position of Director of the Library at Georgetown University Qatar from October 2021 to August 2023 and served as an Associate Professor and University Librarian at the American University of Beirut from September 2009 to September 2021. Additional experience includes tenure as an Associate Professor at Indiana University Bloomington and Assistant Professor at the University at Albany, along with earlier roles as Instructor and Student Library Assistant at various institutions. Lokman Meho earned a Ph.D. in Information and Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Master of Science in Library Science from North Carolina Central University, as well as two degrees in Political Science from the American University of Beirut.
