Andrea McTaggart

Andrea McTaggart is an experienced lacrosse coach currently serving as the Assistant Coach for the U20 Italia Women’s Lacrosse Team for the 2024 World Championships in Hong Kong and as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at American University since August 2022. Previously, McTaggart co-coached Nation United Lacrosse, a diversity showcase team, and held multiple coaching roles including Assistant Coach for the Redshirts Lacrosse Club. McTaggart has also contributed to the University of Maryland Women’s Lacrosse program through various positions, including Camp Counselor and Graduate Assistant. Additionally, McTaggart has educational experience as a Teacher Assistant for a college-level Special Education course and as a Special Education Intern at Montgomery County Public Schools. McTaggart holds a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the University of Maryland.
