Daniel Angster

Daniel Angster is an accomplished professional in advancement research and media analysis with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Advancement Research at American University since May 2019, Angster previously held the position of Senior Prospect Researcher for Major Gifts at WGBH from August 2016 to April 2019. Prior experience includes roles at Media Matters for America, where Angster contributed as a Senior Researcher for State Integration and as a State Media Researcher, focusing on media narratives and coverage related to politics and policy. Angster also worked as a Researcher for Kaine for Virginia, conducting opposition research and supporting campaign efforts. Academically, Angster earned an MA in International Relations from Webster Vienna Private University and a BS in Global Policy & Political Science from James Madison University.
