David Osborne

David Osborne is an experienced leader in energy and engineering management, currently serving as the Director of Energy & Engineering at American University since September 2011. In this role, David spearheads initiatives focused on energy conservation, operational resilience, and infrastructure modernization. Prior to this, David held several key positions, including Director of Engineering at Sentara Health, where major energy savings were achieved, and Program Manager at NORESCO, overseeing critical energy service projects. David's background also includes roles as an Engineering Consultant and Program Manager with the Army Corps of Engineers, where expertise in contract management and technical support was developed. David holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and has completed training at the U.S. Army Engineer Officer School.
