Kevin Grasty has been a significant contributor to American University since joining in 1983. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Creative Services in University Communications & Marketing, Kevin Grasty leads an in-house creative services team focused on design, writing, editing, photography, and providing administrative support for key marketing projects. Notably, Kevin has overseen the redesign of the university's flagship magazine, American, along with its tablet app and website. Previously, Kevin held the position of Sr. Director of University Publications, managing a team of 21 communication professionals and overseeing the production of various periodicals. Early career experience includes serving as the Associate Director of Design at American University and working as a graphic designer at Georgetown Design Group, where Kevin developed graphic solutions for notable clients. Kevin Grasty holds a BFA in visual communications from Pratt Institute.
