Saagar Gupta

Assistant Director, Community-based Learning Programs & Special Events at American University

Saagar Gupta is a seasoned professional with experience in community-based learning, operations, and development. Currently serving as the Programs Coordinator for Community-Based Learning & Research at American University, Saagar leads programs at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. In parallel, Saagar volunteers with the Global Coalition for Peace, providing meals for the homeless community. Previous roles include Director of Operations at bluSPARC™, where Saagar contributed to executive leadership development, and Co-Director of Development at the Interfaith Council of Metropolitan Washington, creating the organization's first Annual Report and managing major donor communications. Saagar has also served as Coordinator for the Eagle Endowment for Public & Community Service, was involved in community-based research, and has volunteered with organizations focused on senior services and Medicare fraud prevention. Educationally, Saagar holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from American University.
