Zach Weidman

Zach Weidman is an experienced soccer coach currently serving as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at American University since February 2022, where responsibilities include developing and executing goalkeeper sessions and coaching 12 all-league players. Concurrently, Zach holds the position of Director of Goalkeeping at Bethesda SC MLS Next, focusing on the development of youth goalkeepers and contributing to the U17 team's playoff qualification. Previously, Zach operated as an Academy Goalkeeper Coach at GroundworK Goalkeeping and worked as a Club & Goalkeeper Coach for Rush Soccer, as well as a Graduate Assistant at the University of the Cumberlands, where training programs were designed for goalkeepers. Zach's early career included roles as a Soccer Trainer and Director of the Student Alumni Council at Spring Arbor University, along with an internship in Admissions that involved fostering relationships with prospective students. Zach holds an MBA from the University of the Cumberlands and a BA in Education from Spring Arbor University.
