Alexis Marianes, PhD, is a skilled methodologist at the American Urological Association since February 2022, specializing in literature reviews and the development of treatment guidelines based on quality studies. Previously, Alexis served as Head of Field Research at Reserva Jaguarapira, focusing on ornithological studies, and as a Social Science Consultant with the Nurture Nature Campaign, addressing the illegal exotic pet trade in Trinidad and Tobago. Additional experience includes organizing events for the Trinidad and Tobago Field Naturalists' Club, leading field research projects at the University of the West of Scotland, and consulting on ecological assessments for Upstream Energy Services. Alexis holds a PhD in Cellular, Molecular, Developmental Biology and Biophysics from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the College of Charleston.
