Tom Hulsey

Tom Hulsey is a dedicated advocate for patient perspectives in urology and cancer research, currently serving as the inaugural Patient Perspectives Associate Editor at the American Urological Association since January 2024. Hulsey contributes to the Urology Care Foundation as a member of the Patient Education Council, providing expert advice on educational materials. Additionally, as a Patient Advocate for the American Urological Association Clinical Trials Collective, Hulsey works to enhance awareness of clinical trials among underrepresented patients. Hulsey has held various roles in organizations such as UT Southwestern Medical Center, ZERO Prostate Cancer, and the North Texas Prostate Cancer Coalition, focusing on patient advocacy and education. With a Business Administration degree in Finance from Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Hulsey combines professional expertise with a commitment to improving patient experiences in healthcare.
