Erin Ciavarella began their work experience in 2007 at CM Services, Inc. as an Association Coordinator, and was quickly promoted to Association Manager within a year. From 2010 to 2022, they worked at the American Veterinary Medical Association, starting as a Meeting Planner and progressing to Assistant Director and then Associate Director of Meetings & Events. In these roles, Erin was responsible for strategic development, project management, budgeting, and implementation of large-scale annual conventions and other meetings. Erin coordinated all aspects of meetings and events, including space assignments, housing, registration, and logistics.
Erin Ciavarella received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication Studies & English from the University of Iowa, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their high school diploma from Montini Catholic High School, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Erin has also obtained certifications in Digital Event Strategist from PCMA in October 2020, and Certified Meeting Professional from the Convention Industry Council.
