Kim Kishbaugh

Assistant Director For Content Strategy at AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association)

Kim Kishbaugh has an extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Kim began their career in 1982 as a Publications Manager/Researcher for the Taxpayers Federation of Illinois, where they managed all publications development and production. From 1984 to 1986, Kim worked as an Editor for Keycom Electronic Publishing. Kim then moved on to the City News Bureau of Chicago, where they served as an Assistant City Editor, overseeing assignments and content for various media outlets.

In 1999, Kim joined Reed Business Information as the Managing Editor of Semiconductor International, where they coordinated all editorial operations for the trade magazine. Kim then became the Director of Content Development, overseeing two website redesigns. Finally, they served as the Director of Electronic Media, managing multiple internet and intranet sites.

Kim's next venture was with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), where they held the position of Assistant Director, Electronic Communications. In this role, they directed the strategy and operations of their website and managed a team of web producers and specialists. Kim later became the Assistant Director for Content Strategy, responsible for developing and implementing a content strategy aligned with business needs and marketing plans.
