Michelle Krieger is an experienced professional in editorial and publishing roles, currently serving as a Publishing Editor and Copy Editor at the American Veterinary Medical Association since October 2015. In this position, Michelle is responsible for copy editing and reviewing veterinary manuscripts, proofreading galley proofs, and collaborating with scientific editors to maintain adherence to publication standards. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as a Journal Assistant at Graphic World, Inc., where responsibilities included copy editing and managing communication between publishers, editors, and authors. Additional experience includes positions as a part-time bookseller at Barnes & Noble, a Desk Aide at Illinois Wesleyan University, and an intern at David Davis Mansion State Historic Site. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and History from Illinois Wesleyan University.
