Valerie Williams

Valerie Williams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development, marketing, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Development & Marketing at the American Visionary Art Museum since May 2020, Valerie also holds the position of Executive Director at the Center for Emerging Media since September 2010. Previously, Valerie acted as the Interim Development Director at The Real News Network, where responsibilities included overseeing fundraising activities and managing contractors. Valerie's earlier roles include Personal Organizer at Peace of Mind Professional Organizing and the inaugural Executive Director of the Pimlico Road Arts & Community Center, which included managing a facility for a non-profit children’s arts and recreation center. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Butler University.
