Paul Olson

Paul Olson has over two decades of experience in the water industry, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Standards at the American Water Works Association since March 2000. In this role, Paul oversees the development of 160 standards and 17 manuals of practice, collaborating with 1,600 volunteers and 10 staff members. Previously, Paul held the position of Senior Manager of Technical & Education Programs, where responsibilities included developing technical programs for conferences within the drinking water treatment field. Earlier in his career, Paul worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Wilfley Weber, Inc., focusing on design, customization, cost analysis, and project management of water treatment equipment. Paul holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, earned between 1989 and 1993.
