Peggy Hofstra

Peggy Hofstra, APR, MBA, has extensive experience in communications and public relations, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Communications at the American Water Works Association since 2018. In this role, Peggy is responsible for planning, writing, designing, and delivering strategic communications to association members, staff, and leadership. Prior to this, Peggy held the position of Director of Communications and Public Relations at Energy Outreach Colorado for nearly 15 years, where responsibilities included managing various communication programs and external vendors. Peggy's career began at Xcel Energy, where a progressive series of roles focused on internal communications, media relations, marketing, and customer information. Peggy holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Drake University.
