Eileen Murphy

Eileen Murphy is an experienced Environmental Engineer with a specialization in the planning, design, and construction of drinking water supply and treatment projects. Eileen currently serves as the Engineering Practice Lead at American Water since October 2019. Prior roles include Sr. Associate at Hazen and Sawyer from 2015 to October 2019, Group Manager - Water Resources at T&M Associates in 2014, and Associate at Hazen and Sawyer from 2002 to 2014. Eileen's career began at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, where roles included System Operations Engineer and Water Quality Supervisor from 1992 to 2002, as well as Quality Assurance Engineer at EBASCO from 1989 to 1992. Eileen holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Environmental Engineering from The City College of New York, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from New York University.
