Krista Citron

Krista Citron, PE, MBA, currently serves as Sr Manager of Operational Performance at American Water since January 2023, where Krista also co-chairs the Women’s Employee Business Resource Group (EBRG), focusing on supporting female employees. Prior to American Water, Krista held the position of Senior Project Engineer and Engineering Project Manager at Kentucky American Water Co from March 2017 to January 2024, overseeing capital project planning and delivery. At CDP Engineers from March 2009 to March 2017, Krista was the MS4 Program Leader and contributed to the Infrastructure Planning Group as well as various engineering departments. Education includes a BS in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University, an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and an MBA with a specialization in Business Data Analytics from Western Kentucky University.
