Joshua Dorfman has a diverse and extensive work experience. Joshua is currently the President of American Wire Group (AWG) since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer from September 2018 to December 2021 and as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing from September 2016 to September 2018 at AWG. At AWG, Joshua works directly with clients and manages the company's strategic efforts in the renewable energy and transmission industries. Joshua is a Subject Matter Expert in various types of cables and has supported utility-scale solar and wind power projects.
In addition, Joshua is a Board Member and Vice Chair of the Utility-Scale Solar Power Division at the Solar Energy Industries Association since January 2022.
Earlier in their career, Joshua worked as a Communications Manager at Neapolitan Condo Association in 2008-2009 and as an Analyst at Fannie Mae from 2005-2007. At Fannie Mae, they managed strategic initiatives, designed and implemented an enterprise risk management program, re-engineered a fulfillment solution, and audited technology software integration using improvement methodologies.

Joshua Dorfman completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at The George Washington University School of Business from 2001 to 2005. Joshua then pursued further education and earned an MBA degree in Entrepreneurship and Operations Management from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago from 2010 to 2012.
