The American Woolen Company is a prominent name in the story of American-made apparel, having been the worsted and woolen apparel fabric leader at the beginning of the 20th century with over fifty-eight textile mills located throughout the American Northeast. We are inspired by the rich history of the brand and are dedicated to building on its unique heritage as we chart our path forward with the new American Woolen Company. We are passionate about reintroducing American craftsmanship to premium textile manufacturing, which for many decades was absent from the luxury apparel market. It’s this passion and dedication that has led to the purchase of the historic Warren Mills in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, one of the last operating wool mills in America.
