Roberta Rubin

Roberta Rubin is a Founding Board Member of the AWM, joining the museum after 40 years as a bookseller and 32 years as the owner of The Bookstall at Chestnut Court in Winnetka. The Bookstall was named one of the top 10 bookstores in America by USA Today and Bookstore of the Year by Publishers Weekly. Roberta has been involved with numerous Boards and philanthropic activities, including the Ragdale Foundation and the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression. Roberta enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, attending Chicago Symphony Orchestra concerts, playing tennis, walking with her dog Rosie, and swimming in Lake Michigan all summer and into the middle of October.
