Robert Lynch has had a long and successful career in the arts industry. Robert began as the Executive Director of Arts Extension Service at UMass, Amherst in 1975 and held the role for a decade. In 1985, they became the President and CEO of Americans for the Arts, where they currently continue to serve.

Robert Lynch attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1967 to 1971, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in English.
