Karly Kolaja has extensive experience in marketing and communications. Karly currently holds the position of Director, Marketing and Brand Strategy at Americares, where they lead the brand marketing team and develops and implements the organization's marketing communications strategy. Karly has also served as an Associate Director of Marketing and as a Senior Marketing Manager at Americares, where they led the brand marketing team and executed multi-channel marketing campaigns to grow brand awareness.

Karly Kolaja obtained a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from The Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photojournalism from Washington College, from 2008 to 2011. In addition, they obtained a certification in "An Introduction to the U.S. Food System: Perspectives from Public Health" from Coursera Course Certificates in 2016.
